How to mark a Depop order shipped
The order shows as shipped and the tracking number is on the receipt the buyer reads.
Checked against Depop's How to ship (US) on September 13, 2026.

If it goes wrong
- The number went in wrong
Depop's rule is "You won't be able to amend the tracking information once added" (depophelp.zendesk.com, checked 13 September 2026). Message the buyer with the correct number, keep the drop-off receipt, and expect to support the order with that receipt rather than the field.
- You cannot find Sold
It is in a different place on each platform: My Depop on iOS, Selling Hub on Android, Your selling hub on the web. The steps above are written per platform for that reason.
- The order was sold on Depop Shipping
Then the Depop label is the one to use. Shipping it another way and entering your own number means "your order may be automatically canceled and refunded".
What happens next
Entering tracking is what stops the 10 day clock: with nothing on the receipt within 10 days of the sale, the order cancels and the buyer is refunded. Depop Protection stays with Depop labels, capped at $300 in the US, and excludes "items sent using any method other than a shipping label purchased through Depop", so on your own service the carrier claim is yours to make.
One number, straight off the label
Buy the USPS or UPS label in the app and the tracking number sits beside it, ready to paste into Depop once. Weight comes from your saved product presets or from what you type once, so a repeat item needs no scale. Nothing is written back to Depop for you, which is why the steps above stay in your hands.
