How to schedule a recurring eBay order report
Your orders report builds itself on a schedule you choose, so the day's batch is waiting before you start packing.

Before you start
- Seller Hub on a computer.
- The time of day you normally stop packing.
- A date range no longer than 90 days.
Steps

Open Download in Seller Hub Reports
In Seller Hub, select Reports, then Download.
You should see the download builder, starting with Source.

Set Source to Orders
In the download builder, set Source to Orders.
You should see the order fields and the date range.

Set the date range
Choose a range of 1 to 90 days. A daily run wants a short range, not the full 90 days.

Choose how often it runs
Set the schedule to hourly, daily, weekly or monthly.
You should see the run time and end date options for the frequency you picked.

Set a run time before your cutoff
Pick a run time earlier than the hour you normally hand parcels over.

Set an end date, or No end date
Choose an end date, or select No end date to keep the schedule running.
You should see the schedule saved and listed with your other downloads.
If it goes wrong
- The schedule does not widen the 90-day cap
Each run still obeys the 1 to 90 day limit on an orders report. An hourly schedule gives you fresher files, not deeper history.
- A run time after your cutoff wastes the run
Orders paid after the file is built wait for the next run. Hourly is the frequency that fixes this for a shipper who packs through the day.
- eBay does not publish where the finished file lands
It documents the frequencies, the run time and the end date, and nothing about delivery. Run the schedule once and see where the file turns up before you build a routine on it.
What happens next
A scheduled file only helps if the parcels still move inside handling time, which eBay measures from payment to the first carrier scan. Top Rated requires at least 95% of transactions with tracking uploaded within handling time and validated by the carrier, and no more than 5 late shipments or 3% of transactions (eBay). Standing is evaluated on the 20th of each month, so a week of late scans shows up at a fixed date rather than straight away.
A live queue instead of a file
With eBay connected, paid orders arrive on their own: an eBay order webhook or the 10 to 15 minute sync pulls buyer, address, line items and money into The Workbench (part of Pro). No schedule to maintain, and no window where a file is already stale. You can still import a CSV or paste rows for anything that is not a connected store.
