Bulk shipping labels, from order list to one PDF
Put the day's orders in one list, from a connected eBay store, a CSV or Excel export, or a paste. Every row is priced before you buy and starts on the cheapest rate shown. Change any row, buy the batch, print one 4x6 or letter PDF, and hand the USPS labels over on one SCAN form.

Do you need a bulk label tool at all?#
Batching pays for itself through the steps it removes: retyping addresses, pricing parcels one by one, printing one dialog at a time, uploading tracking at day's end. Without those steps, a batch tool is overhead.
One label at a time is fine when
- You ship a few parcels a day and each one is different.
- Every order ships on the marketplace's own label (Poshmark, StockX, Vinted prepaid).
- You sell only on eBay and its bulk shipping tool covers your run.
- Each order is one item you can find without a pick list.
A batch earns its place when
- Orders arrive from more than one place.
- You retype addresses from exports or messages every day.
- Printing, packing and the post office run outlast the selling.
- A missed tracking upload or late scan has cost you a defect.
Batch when the work around the labels is the bottleneck, not the labels themselves.
Where does the batch come from?#
The Workbench (Pro) builds one list of bulk shipping labels from wherever your orders are. Common exports map their columns themselves; any other file you map once.
A column the label does not need, a gift note or an internal tag, is left out rather than guessed at. Printing labels from a CSV goes column by column.
| Source | How it gets in | Plan |
|---|---|---|
| Connected eBay store | Paid orders arrive by themselves, with the address and a listing weight | Connecting is free; the batch is Pro |
| Etsy orders CSV | No Etsy connection: drop in Etsy's own sold-orders file | Pro |
| Other CSV or Excel | Common exports map themselves; map any other file once | Pro |
| Pasted addresses | Paste from a message, an email or a sheet | Pro |
| One label at a time | Typed in the app | Starter or Pro |
Is every row priced before you buy?#
Yes. Each row is priced for its own address, weight and box, starting on the cheapest rate shown, and the batch total shows before you pay from your balance. Change any row first: a buyer who paid for Priority Mail gets Priority Mail.
- Weight
- The weakest number in a row: a listing weight, or a file's weight column if it has one. The carrier bills what it measures, so weigh anything you doubt.
- Saved packages
- Your usual boxes one tap away, free on either plan. Pro adds rules for orders you always ship the same way.
- The price
- Below USPS commercial on almost every label, in full before you buy.
- Part of a batch
- Buy the rows that are ready; the rest wait, kept as a draft on Pro.
One PDF for the whole run#
The bought batch prints the whole run as one PDF, 4x6 for a thermal printer or letter. With packing slips, each 4x6 label is followed by its own slip (on letter, the slips follow in the same order), so nothing is taped to the wrong parcel. The pick list is a sheet of its own.
Set the driver to 4x6 at actual size, not fit to page. Printing 4x6 labels in bulk covers each printer.
Hand it to USPS in one scan#
A prepaid stack is not shipped until a carrier scans it: dropped after the last collection, it reads Label created until the next business day, and on eBay that first scan closes handling time.
- The form
- A USPS SCAN form, PS Form 5630: one master barcode whose scan, USPS says, enters every package in USPS Tracking.
- Where to make it
- From My Labels, free, or from The Workbench on Pro, once the day's USPS labels are bought.
- What it lists
- USPS labels you print yourself, not ones bought for printing at the Post Office. UPS parcels go to UPS.
- No trip
- Schedule a free USPS carrier pickup from the app.
Do you need a SCAN form? explains what the one scan records and what it does not.
Tracking back to the store#
The job most often skipped: telling the store each order shipped.
- Connected eBay
- Nothing to do: tracking goes back as you buy, and eBay marks the order Shipped.
- From a file
- The Workbench exports the batch's tracking numbers as a CSV, for marketplaces that take tracking as an upload.
- Etsy
- By hand in Etsy, order by order: adding tracking to an Etsy order shows where.
- Your own buyers
- Delivery emails from us if you turn them on for the shipment, included on Pro.
What does The Workbench cost?#
The Workbench is part of Pro; on the free Starter plan you buy labels one at a time. Prices marked Pro price are what Pro members pay. On the free Starter plan, each label adds a platform fee of about 10% of the postage, rounded to the nearest $0.25, at least $0.50 and at most $2.50.
- Pro adds
- No platform fee, file and paste imports, drafts, a lower insurance rate, branded tracking, teammate seats.
- Free on either plan
- The eBay connection, pick lists and packing slips for connected-store orders, a SCAN form from My Labels and a USPS carrier pickup.
Billing and fees lists every charge.

Put the orders in one list in The Workbench (Pro), from a connected eBay store, a CSV or Excel export, or a paste. Check the weights, change any row that should not ship on the cheapest rate shown, buy the batch, and print it as one 4x6 or letter PDF, with each order's packing slip if you want it.
Yes, on Pro. Drop in a marketplace's order export as a CSV or Excel file; common exports map their columns automatically and any other file is mapped once. Each row becomes an order to price and buy. Printing labels from a CSV goes column by column.
No. The Workbench, which batches orders, is part of Pro; on the free Starter plan you buy labels one at a time. Pick lists and packing slips for connected-store orders, a SCAN form from My Labels and a USPS carrier pickup are free on either plan.
Yes. The batch prints as one 4x6 PDF through your device's print dialog. Set the printer's paper size to 4x6 and print at actual size so the labels are not shrunk onto a letter page. See printing 4x6 labels in bulk.
Not for orders from a connected eBay store: they come into the same list as everything else, and when you buy, the tracking and carrier go back to each eBay order. Keep eBay Labels for anything that qualifies for the eBay Standard Envelope, which only eBay sells.
The Workbench exports the batch's tracking numbers as a CSV, for marketplaces that take tracking as an upload. Etsy takes tracking by hand, order by order. Orders from a connected eBay store get their tracking automatically.
Yes. On Pro a batch you have not finished is kept as a draft, so the rows you have not bought are still there when you come back. Buy the rows that are ready and leave the rest in the list.
